Office Manager (Part-Time – 3 Mornings per Week)

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Office Manager to support the smooth running of our busy and friendly dog kennels. This is a part-time role for someone who thrives on
responsibility, enjoys varied admin work, and can bring calm and clarity to our day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer bookings for kennels and grooming – by email, WhatsApp and phone
- Respond to customer messages promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate training records and staff documentation
- Process invoices for customers with accounts and provide admin support for payment tracking
- Prepare the initial payroll draft for accountants each month
- Keep on top of licensing renewals and compliance-related admin
- Support general HR tasks and day-to-day office administration
- Assist with any other ad hoc admin duties to keep the business running smoothly
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable with basic bookkeeping, spreadsheets, and email
- Experience in a small business, kennel, or pet services environment is a plus
- Friendly, reliable and able to work independently
- Discreet and professional with sensitive information
Kennel Assistant (Full-Time – 4–5 Days per Week)

We’re looking for a Kennel Manager to join our team as second-in-command and help lead the day-to-day running of our dog boarding and grooming business. This role is perfect for
someone who is hands-on, reliable, and loves both dogs and people.
You’ll work closely with the owner and step up when they’re off-site, ensuring high standards of care, customer service, and team support are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the owner in the daily management of the kennels
- Take responsibility when the owner is off-site – leading the team and maintaining high standards
- Be the point of contact for staff and customers during shifts
- Handle bookings and queries in person or over the phone
- Supervise feeding, cleaning, exercise routines and welfare of dogs in care
- Welcome visits from inspectors or customers confidently and calmly
- Encourage a positive, team-based work environment
- Pitch in as needed – this is a small team and flexibility is key
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working in kennels or with animals professionally
- Previous experience supervising a team is ideal
- Calm under pressure and confident handling customers
- Approachable and a natural team player
- Organised, dependable, and able to follow routines and regulations
- Willing to learn and grow with the business
- Minimum Level 3 Animal Management qualification
